5th Ramadhan..

It's already 5th day of Ramadhan and also 5th day our late-Nani left us. So fast time flies...

Today I was feeling extremely sleepy! Any moment now I can just fall asleep.. Keep yawning and my eyes are watery! How I wished that I'm at home now!! Yesterday we break our fast over at MIL'shouse. She cooked Bee Hoon Hailam.. There were fried chicken and Roti Celup Telor. While on Tuesday, we break fast over at my late-Nani's place.. Or shud I called it my uncle's place. So used to call "Rumah Nani".. But now we have to adapt calling it my uncle's house. Anyway on Tuesday was the 3rd day of tahlil. We had tahlil and solat terawih together. At the same time, we celebrated one of our uncle's 47th Besday. This Datuk M as what he wants us to call him has the same age as Datuk K.. haha.. I bought him a Chocolate Truffle Cake from Royal Cake for her besday cake..

We had quite a feast there. There were epok2 sayur, nasi goreng kampung, beefsteak, fried chicken, black pepper steak, durian puff, cempedak muffin, swiss roll and others which I cud not remember.. See many2 food rite? Naik kembung perut! Anyway it was great to see all of us gathered around together on that day! Forgetting all the feud among them and get back together as a whole family! I'm sure my late-granny will lay in peace seeing all her children get back together..

I did take some photos but yet to upload.. Will do so when I have some time to spare...

Today I'm gonna take 1/2 hr lunch just to take a nap and can knock off at 5.30pm! For now, back to werk with my droopy eyes...

She's gone...

My paternal grandma passed away on the 1st day of Ramadhan at 5.20am.. Sadly as we are but we are willing that Allah has take her away so that it lessen her suffering..

I was prepared for the worst before the news broke.. I did not sleep well the night after sahur. When my bro called me around 5.25am, I broke down.. Hubbie consoled me... Around 8.30am in the morning after Alisha woke up, we got ready and went to my grandma's place.

After paying the last respect for our Nani, she was brought to Pusara Abadi for her burial.. Now there will be no Nani in our family.. No grandparents in both mum and dad's side anymore.. Hari Raya this year gonna be a sad one for us..

Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas roh Allahyarhamha Salma Bte Abdul Ghani dan semoga Allahyarhamha ditempatkan dikalangan orang2 yg beriman... Amin..

I'm on compassionate leave today and there will be no SG Idol for me in indoor stadium.. It's not impt for me anymore...

A day to Ramadhan...

Was out to JB this morning with dad & sis. Collected mum's specs and hubbie's shades at Jusco Tebrau City. Had bfast cum lunch at Secret Recipe. Hubbie did some shopping there. As for me I din buy anything. Only magazines, Hot Chix Floss from breadtalk and somes donuts from Dunkin Donuts.

Then off to Xtra to do some groceries shopping for Ramadhan.. By the time it was already 4pm. Top up petrol and off we went back to SG. Sent dad and sis back. Then we went to MIL's place for awhile to send some stuff. After mahgrib we went back.

And now I just got a call from sis that my paternal grandma is seriously ill. Most of my dad's siblings were already there. I really dunt feel good! Smsed my cousin, Nini, to inform her. We were just planning to go to Nani's place tomoro morning to visit her. haizz... Sis said that her body is soo cold. I'll pray that nothing's gonna happen to her! What's more tomoro is 1st Ramadhan.. We all won't want to lose her! She is the only grandma that we have!

I just can't continue anymore... To all Muslim bloggers, friends and families who read my blog, Selamat menyambut Ramadhan Al Mubarak. Semoga segala amalan kita diberkati Allah. Insya Allah..

I've won!

Was sooo surprised to receive the email! I was like reading it over and over again! Sure or not?!

I know I want this. Both me & hubbie wanted this! But now not sure if we can go to the Final Showdown of SG Idol. Few factor bothering me now.

1) It's first day of Ramadhan.
2) Where can we put Alisha?
3) MIL will be discharged today but we can't possibly put her under her care just to go to SG Idol.
4) My parents will be out for terawih.

See all the minus pts! But deep down inside me, I really wanna go! This gonna be the last season of the SG Idol some more! *fening*

Canon Pic of The Week..

Dear all,

Would appreacite if you guys can give my Lil Icah support by voting for her. Please click the link below. Your votings are much appreciated.. Thank you! :)

Vote for Alisha Ameera!

What a weekend!

Weekend was spent fruitfully but not until late nite Sunday...

Saturday, we had a mini BBQ within my family and few closed cuzzins.. We had a great fun eventho' the weather is not that good but luckily there was no heavy rain. Ended the BBQ around 10 plus at nite. Pictures will be uploaded later.

Sunday morning, both me & hubbie brought Icah for breakfast at Bedok LJS.. After that we spent our time at my parents' place. We had BBQ lunch. Leftovers from Saturday BBQ. By 2pm, we went over to PIL's place... Lepak there for awhile before we went back at 4pm.. Back home, bathed Icah and put her to sleep. As I was having a flu, I popped in FEDAC tablet and dozed off. By the time both me and Icah woke up, it was already 6.30pm. Hubbie told me that MIL could not walk as her left leg jammed. SIL was there to massage her leg. It happened a few times.. Anyway we went out to buy dinner at Madinatul. Then we went to PIL's place again. Can see MIL is in pain. SIL went back shortly after we arrived as both hubbie niece and nephew need to go to school the next day.

We just lazed around at PIL's place. At around 9.30pm, MIL suggested to go to A&E as it's hard for her to move around w/o walking. We called ambulance as we could not carry MIL down to our car. We followed the ambulance to TTSH. Both me & Icah sat outside while hubbie attended MIL in the A&E. Decided to take urgent leave the next day as we only managed to go back home at 4am while MIL has to be hospitalised. Doctor said that she has arthritis and her knee is locked.

Seems that history repeats again. Last year around the same time, FIL was admitted to hospital and had to undergo a 50-50 surgery. Alhamdulillah he's getting better now. But we had to spent 3 weeks of our fasting days over at Changi Hospital. Now MIL will undergo surgery too and it's coming to Ramadhan and not sure if we have to spent our fasting days at TTSH too. Hopefully it won't be long..

Now the issue is my dearest Alisha.. She will be under my mum's care. I'm just afraid that she will cry as all this while MIL is taking care of her. But she has to get used with my mum as from now on, mum gonna take over MIL's duty till MIL is fully recovered. By then hopefully Alisha will not mind her 2 neneks taking care of her. It will be easier for all of us...

Hopefully everything will be fine and we will be given strength by HIM to face all these challenges.

Weekend no more..

Now watching Siti's wedding at TV3 and at the same updating this entry of mine.. Few mins more it's already Monday..aiyooo..so fast weekend past.. Just can't get enuff of weekend lahh!!

Let me story a bit on what did we do during weekend..

Friday
Went to my parents' hse at 7 plus at nite. Hubbie dropped us there and he went off to Comex. Me & Icah had our dinner first. Lazed around together with my family & siblings. Hubbie reached only at 10.30pm. Had his dinner and by 11.20pm we went back home.

Saturday
At around 10.30am, we went Bedok to meet my bro and dad. Thinking of having bfast at Bedok but cud not get any parking so we decided to go straight to Sim Lim Sq. Bro was assigned to buy his office pc so he asked hubbie for help since hubbie knew a sales person there in one of the shop. We reached there around 11.30am but the shop was not open yet at that time. We juz walked2 and when the shop open, we were the first customer to go in. Spent 2 hrs plus there. Hubbie bought Samsung LCD monitor and gaming keyboard. He got a good price and that's why he din buy any at Comex.

After Sim Lim, we went to New Hawa Rest at MacKenzie Road for bfast cum lunch. Then we went back Bedok as bro needed his bike to go to his work place. We followed him from behind and sent the pc stuffs there. From there we went back home. At home, all of us took a nap before we went out again after maghrib. Picked my parents and sis and went to SGH to visit my granny. She was admitted last Thursday due to low blood. She is just soo weak and frail. Haizz..so sad to see her in that condition.. After spending 2 hrs there, all of us made a move. My family went for a late dinner at Mak's Place. After that send my parents and sis back. We reached home at 12.15am.

Sunday
Went to a jemputan with PIL at Tampines. We were one of the early bird there. After that went over PIL's place. At 3pm, went back home. Put Icah to sleep. Around 6.15pm, we went out to Comex. Hubbie just wanna see if there is any last minute offer. Met hir & Megat there for awhile. Since nothing catches our eyes, we went out. Icah oso making lotsa noise as I know she felt so uneasy with the crowds. Pity her.. We then we Banquet Lion City Hotel for dinner. Then went back..

So that's our weekend goes... Looking forward for the next coming weekend as Saturday is dad's 57th Birthday..

Okay, Siti's wedding just ended so I need to go to my dreamland.. Till my next update! Adiouss!!
